In the gently rolling heaths of the Wietzer Berg, between Hermannsburg and Müden (Örtze), there is a special monument to the heath poet, the Herman Löns Memorial Stone. Here the famous heath poet enjoyed the nature of the heath in peace and quiet even back then.
From the car park, walk about 1 km along slightly sandy paths through the purple flowering heath fields, past green juniper bushes and white shining birch trees to the Hermann Löns Memorial Stone.
